JAMMU: To sensitise district functionaries dealing with U-DISE data about the importance of capturing error-free data and subsequent formulation of AWP&B 2015-16 two days U-DISE workshop was organized in the Directorate of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA). The Secretary to Government, School Education Department, visited Directorate of SSA on Tuesday.
A presentation was made about the U-DISE formats which contain all information about schools in the State. The Secretary to Government, after viewing the presentation, directed all the participants from 10 districts of Jammu division to complete the assignment of U-DISE within 10 days.
The Secretary also impressed upon all the participants to give priority to the U-DISE data as this is the primary data received from the school level. She also warned the participants of disciplinary action in case of any laxity found on their part.
