JAMMU: SRTC Volunteer Retired Employees Association J and K criticized the callout attitude of State Government and higher authorities of Transport Department towards the VRS employees of J and K SRTC for not clearing their dues for the last more than six years. President VRS Union, Dev Raj Bali informed that during this long struggle 14 VRS employees had passed away as they could not afford proper treatment to their diseases for want of funds. “The Central Government has implemented the Seventh Pay Commission in favour of their employees whereas we are struggling for our Sixth Pay Commission implementation.
