SRINAGAR: District Carrom Championship, organised by the District Srinagar Carrom Association, concluded with the holding of prize distribution function at Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) Raj Bagh, here on Sunday.
Divisional Sports Officer of the State Sports Council, Mushtaq Ahmad was Chief Guest who along with Firdous Ahmad Khan, Kuldeep, Mudasir Khan, Arif Khan, Reyaz Khan and Adil Rashid Shah gave away the prizes.
Around 120 participants contested for the top honours in different age groups of sub-junior, junior and senior in this three-day event braving cold chill.

BOYS: Sub-junior Umair, Ist; Numan Mushtaq, 2nd and Sajid Bhat, 3rd. Junior: Waseem Bashir, Ist; Danish Bashir, 2nd and Waseem Yousuf, 3rd. Senior: Fazil Fayaz, Ist; Waseem Bashir,2nd and Mohmmad Yaqoob, 3rd.
GIRLS: Sub-junior: Sabreena Firdous, Ist; Khushboo Firdous, 2nd and Aisha Parveen, 3rd. Junior: Asra Shafi, Ist; Uzma Rashid, 2nd and Anjum Alam, 3rd. Senior: Adfar Jan, Ist; Abida Mehraj, 2nd and Safiya Showket, 3rd.
