NOWSHERA: The over speeding car hit an old man at Bagnoti on Jammu – Poonch National Highway on Monday who died on the spot. The deceased identified as Kanshi Ram (74), son of Mool Raj, resident of Dandesar was shifted to Sub District Hospital Nowshera and his body was handed over to his family members after postmortem.
The Nowshera Police seized the car (JK02AQ-4677) while its driver managed to flee. The police has registered the case vide FIR 148/16 under Sections 279 and 304-A RPC for investigation.
