POONCH: Hosts Sham Lal Hockey Club (HLHC) and Khelo India Hockey Centre (KIHC) maintained their winning spree in the ongoing Women Hockey League being held here as part of the 6th Poonch Linkup Day celebrations.
In the first match, SLHC defeated Stadium XI 3-0. Akshara Dutta netted two goals while other goal came through Samina Akhter. In other match of the day, KIHC blanked Power House Hockey Club 4-0. Sanjana Yadav scored two goals while Haiqa Banday and Sohana were other goal scorers.
Today’s matches were officiated by the technical panel including Ruchika Sharma Harmik Singh, Mohd Shokat, Sunil Raina and Navjot Singh.
The tournament is being organised by Indian Army in collaboration with SLHC Pooch and technically supported by Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) district Poonch.
