UDHAMPUR: Police wor-ked out two theft cases of Police Station Majalta and recovered stolen jewellery amounting to Rs. 2,51,835 from six thieves which had been stolen by them from the two different houses at Majalta of district Udha-mpur.
The accused have been identified as Ayub Ahmed son of Shamas Din resident of Goti Chandiyar Tehsil Bani, Shabir Ahmed son of Ghulam Qadir resident of Telli Basti Bari-Brahmna District Samba, Sadam Hussain son of Abdul Rahim resident of Surjan Chalok Tehsil Bani, Darshan Kumar alias Pandit son of Chajju Ram resident of Chak Ram Singh Hatli Morh Kathua, involved in case vide FIR No. 41/2016 under section 454/380/109/411/201 RPC P/S Majalta and another two accused namely Mohd Javed son of Mohd Gulzar resident of Bateda Tehsil Basoli and Talib Hussain son of Abdul Hamid resident of Lohai Tehsil Lohai Malhar Kathua involved in case vide FIR No. 50/2016 under section 454/380 RPC Police Station Majalta.
Reports said that after getting the information about two thefts that took place one from the residence of Uttam Chand son of Kundi Ram resident of Amara Tehsil Majala on 22nd July 2016 and another from the residence of Ramesh Singh son of Rasal Singh resident of Dayoat Tehsil Majala on 23rd June 2016, FIR No. 41/2016 under section 454/380/109/ 411/201 RPC at Police Station Majalta and FIR No. 50/2016 under section 454/380 RPC at Police Station Majalta had already been registered.
