Show cause notice served to 5 teachers for dereliction of duties

KATHUA: Chief Education Officer, Kathua Balbir Singh on Monday visited various schools in the district and served show cause notice to five teachers for dereliction of duties.
During the visit, the CEO inspected Govt. Primary School Rapper , wherein it was found that all the three teachers were absent for which Zonal Educaton Officer, Kathua was directed to issue show cause notice in favour of the teachers as to why they should not be placed under suspension for dereliction of duty.
Thereafter, Chief Education Officer, Kathua, inspected Govt. High School Jarai and found that the school was functioning properly as per routine and the teachers were in the classrooms attending the classes.
Further, Balbir inspected Govt. Primary School Taraf Sanji where the teachers were present and school was functioning properly.
He also inspected Middle School Taraf Sanji, and it was found that two teachers namely Monika and Sunita were absent for which Zonal Education Officer Kathua was directed to issue show cause notice as to why they should not be placed under suspension for dereliction of duties.
Thereafter, Chief Education Officer, Kathua inspected Govt. High School Parliwand wherein it was found that the school was functioning as per routine and all the teachers were present in the school attending the classes.
One Physical Education Master namely Mohan Lal and one Physical Education Teacher, Kusum Lata were shown on duty in the office of Distt. Youth Services and Sports Officer, Kathua.
On enquiring from the Distt Youth Services and Sports Officer, Kathua Kusum Lata was found having not attended the office today for which Headmaster, High School Parliwand was directed to provide the duty slip issued by the Distt Youth Services and Sports Officer, Kathua to proceed further.
