Shiksha Niketan School organises Fruit Salad Making Competition

JAMMU: Shiksha Niketan Higher Secondary School, Jeevan Nagar on Wednesday organised a Fruit Salad Making Competition in the school premises in which four students from each house i.e. Amar, Shanti, Gandhi and Guru Nanak participated. All were the students of class 10th. Students prepared salad and also gave it a name according to theme of their presentation.
Shanti House with students Harshita, Sonia, Tanveer and Ikjot and Incharge Kamaljeet Kour stood first, Amar House with students Daksh, Sandeep, Sonali, Gurvinder and Incharge Neelam Khajuria stood second and Gandhi House with students Harsheesh, Jasleen, Bhavya, Aakriti and Incharge Vishal Gupta stood third and Guru Nanak House with students Harleen, Parul, Sakshi and Gurnoor and Incharge Surinder Kumar stood fourth. Principal Rames-hwar Mengi distributed prizes among the winners and appreciated the efforts of the students and also encouraged other students to participate in the curricular activities so as to develop their mental horizon.
