JAMMU: To monitor the rescue, relief and rehabilitation in flood affected areas, the state government on Tuesday deployed Commissioner/Secretary Tourism and Culture Department Shailendra Kumar as Special Relief Commissioner, Central Kashmir.
To provide assistance in receipt/distribution of ration at various places in the Kashmir Valley, the government temporarily deployed six officers with the Director, CAPD, Kashmir.
The officers deployed include, Joint Director (I and C), Development, Kashmir Mohd. Ashraf Wani, Joint Director, Information, Kashmir Shafqat Iqbal, Additional Secretary in CM’s Secretariat Bashir Ahmad Lone, CEO, Dudhpathri Shabir Ahmad Bhat, Secretary, Women’s Commission Mehraj-ud-din Rather and General Manager, DIC, Srinagar Munib-ul-Hassan.
