RAJOURI: Mohd Shafiq bagged gold in the District Rajouri Athletics Championship which was held in collaboration with Government PG College, here. Second place went to Nayamat Ali while Shafayat Khan remained third in the day-long competition.
The competition was witnessed besides others by Principal Government PG College, Prof Shabir Hussain.
Other Results: 200 mts: Mohd Ishaq, Ist; Rukhsar Choudhary, 2nd and Bunty Sharma, 3rd. 400 mts: Sahil Kesar, Ist; Sahil Kumar, 2nd and Mohd Shamraiz, 3rd. 800 mts: Mustafeez, Ist; Zaheer, 2nd and Anzar Hussain, 3rd. 1500 mts: Parvaiz Ahmed, Ist; Mohd Shafiq, 2nd and Javid Iqbal, 3rd.
Others present were Rakesh Puri, Lt.Tanwir Ahmed, Prof. Ghulam Abbas, Prof. Asif Lone and Prof Zameer Mirza.
