JAMMU: The government on Monday postponed the holiday on the occasion of Shab-i-Miraj to February 8 instead of February 07.
“In partial modification of Government Order No. 1582-JK(GAD) of 2023 dated December 11, 2023, it is ordered that the holiday on account of Shab-i-Miraj shall now be observed on 8th of February, 2024 (Thursdav) instead of 7th of February, 2024 (Wednesday), in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir,” reads an order issued by Sanjeev Verma, Commissioner/ Secretary, GAD.
