Gandhi observing and believing in his Hindu philosophy and beliefs said, “I am a Muslim and a Hindu and a Christian and a Jew and so are all of you.” His prayers had the word Allah along with Ram, proving his secular credentials.
Padam Bhushan Naseeruddin Shah, an actor, has said, “My wish list for the future has one item: Disappearance of all religions from the face of the earth.” The Panchtantra and Sikh scriptures speak of the universal truth: “Vasudehva Kutumbkum” (The entire world is one family), “Manas ki jaat ek ho pehchan vo” (Human race has common identity).
