JAMMU : Secretary to Govt Cooperative Department R.K Koul took a review meeting of the Cooperative Banks at Jammu the other day. He reviewed the overall performance especially of deposits, loans and recoveries.
The secretary had a discussion regarding ways and means to curtail expenditure and bring down the cost of management. He also stressed upon the bank functionaries to lay emphasis on the issue of Kissan Credit Cards, its sanctioning and disbursement as per the targets fixed and the recovery component.
He issued instructions to Chief Executive Officers of Cooperative Banks to depute staff for regular reviews of the performances of the banks. Prominent among others present include Registrar Cooperative Societies Jammu and Kashmir, Anjana Tickoo, M.Y Mir and Chief Executive Officers of Cooperative Banks.
