JAMMU: The two-day Second J and K State Petanque Championship organised by J and K Petanque Association
at KC International School, here concluded on Sunday.
Vice Chairman of the Association, Chaitanya Chowdhary was the Chief Guest while Principal of KCIS, Dr Ravi Bhushan and Vice President of the Association, Subhash Sharma was Guests of Honour.
The championship, in which about 160 students took part, was conducted under the supervision of Tarsem Sharma, Organising Secretary.
Final results
Boys Team Event U/11: Harmandeep Singh, Aryan and Bhagyesh Koul 1st, Paras, Smarth, Owais and Ritanshu 2nd and Sharan, Arkit and Atharv third. U/14: Asrahy, Deekshant and Rahat 1st, Tahir, Shahnawz Shreef and Prashant 2nd and Aditya, Saksham, Rohit and Sparsh 3rd. U/17: Shoaib Shawl, Danish Gupta and Akshit 1st and Nipun Gandhi, Vishavajeet Singh and Harseerat Singh 2nd .
Doubles: U/14: Syed Mehdi and Mehdi Mujaffer 1st, Yujutsu Sharma and Divjot Singh 2nd and Tanish and Karan 3rd. U/17: Shoaib Shawl and Umar Dar 1st, Bhavik and Deepak 2nd and Kaushal Garg and Danish Sharma 3rd.
GIRLS Team Event U/11: Dhanya, Kaashmi and Milagros 1st and Priya , Chahat and Muskan 2nd. U/14: Riya, Mumtaz and Nikita 1st , Vidhushi, Sneh and Khushi 2nd and Mrinmmay, Shriya and Shivani 3rd.
Mixed Doubles: Sanath Sareen and Aakriti 1st, Menjour Ahmed and Poonam Thakur 2nd and Akshit Khajuria, Shirin Raina 3rd.
