JAMMU: Hiranagar Club and Khalsa Club Gole Gujral won their respective matches to move into the next round of the ongoing Second Banda Bahadur Memorial Hockey Tournament at KK Hakku Stadium, here on Friday.
In the first match, Hirangar Club trounced Bhargav Public School 5-2. Rajinder Singh netted two goals while Rohit Sharma, Suraj Singh and Sanjay Jasrotia added one each. For Bhargav School, Tushar Sharma and Bhavneet Singh were the scorers. In other match of the day, Khalsa Club Gole Gujral defeated Young Start Simbal Camp 5-0 in a one-sided game.
Today’s matches were officiated by the technical panel including Jagjeet Singh, Sanapati, Jaspreet Singh, Gurjeet Singh, Amarjeet Singh and Joginder Singh.
