NOWSHERA: Due to non-availability of gynecologist and child specialist in Sub District Hospital (SDH) people of Nowshera are facing lot of problems, particularly when thousands of people from border areas are in disturbed condition due to migration.
Locals said that gynecologist who had been transferred was relieved without replacement and there is no one for the last more than a month. In the case of child specialist, no new doctor has been posted after the retirement of existing incumbent. The patients are therefore shifted to Sunderbani or Rajouri which involves great risk.
Vijay Bakshi President Brahman Sabha, Gopal Sharma President Samaj sudhar Committee, Vishal Gupta, Kamlakant gupta, Dheeraj Kapoor have appealed to the Health Minister to post one gynecologist and one child specialist in SDH Nowshera at the earliest.
