Saroori holds public grievance camp
BHALESSA: Senior Congress Leader and MLA Inderwal, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori held a public grievance redressal camp at Khara area of district Doda.
Tehsildar Khara Majid Jahangir, all the other sectoral officers, a large number of people of adjoining villages including Congress local leaders, Panchs, Sarpanchs and Youth Congress members participated in the meeting and apprised the MLA of various problems being faced by them.
They highlighted the problems related to drinking water, better medical facilities, facilities regarding veterinary services, early black topping on Khara-Jai Road, shortage of teaching staff in schools, shortage of doctors and non-payment of MGNREGA wages.
Saroori while listening to the problems of people sought detailed clarifications and action plan from the concerned officers to mitigate the grievances of the people. He asked them to take immediate steps to meet out their demands. He exhorted on better coordination between people and administration for the progress of these remote areas.
Tehsildar Khara and other officers highlighted the schemes of their respective departments to sensitise the general public.
