Sanction of Rs 2.66 cr for kin of deceased Govt employees hailed

JAMMU: All J&K Electric Department Linemen and Workers Union on Monday hailed the sanction accorded to the payment of Rs. 2.66 crore for Jammu and Kashmir i.e Rs. 1.57 crore for Jammu province and Rs. 1.09 crore for Kashmir province in favour of legal heirs of deceased Government Employees.
In a meeting of All J&K Electric Department Linemen and Workers Union held under the leadership of its President Tara Chand Lakhotra, members hailed sanction of Rs. 2.66 crore for the kin of deceased government employees including 86 from Jammu province and 64 from Kashmir.
The meeting thanked Deeraj Gupta Commissioner/Secretary to Government PDD, Chairman Central Welfare Committee (Commissioner Power Development Department), Ashwani Gupta Chief Engineer /Superintending Engineer M&RE Wing Jammu and Executive Engineers for taking such a bold step for the welfare of the employees who have lost their lives whiling performing their duties.
Kewal Kumar, Girdhari Lal, Vijay Gupta, Kartar Nath, Surinder Kumar, Paras Ram, Randhir Singh, Balwinder Kumar, Mangat Ram and others were also present.
