JAMMU: Sainik School Nagrota defeated Middle School Dansal to claim the under-14 boys’ volleyball title in the inter-school competitions of Dansal Zone, organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at Government High School Nagrota grounds, near here on Wednesday.
Earlier, the competition was declared open by Headmaster, Ashok Sharma and Master, Anita Sharma of the host School in the disciplines of volleyball, kabaddi, kho-kho and wrestling in two age groups of under-14 and under-17 boys.
Both the guests were introduced with the participating teams by Zonal Physical Education Officer (ZPEO) Dansal, Tarsem Singh.
Other Results: Volleyball: Under-17: Sainik School Nagrota beat HSS Kathar 25-13, 25-17 points. Kabaddi: Under-14: High School Nagrota beat Middle School Sitni Bye Pass 10-09. Kabaddi: Under-17: High School Nagrota beat HSS Jandrah by 11 points.
