JAMMU: Sports Authority of India (SAI) shall be holding a three-day selection trials to pick up talented and young boxers from Jammu for specialised training at National Boxing Academy, Rohtak in Haryana. Boxers (male and female) from across the State, in the age groups of 12 to 25 years have been invited to take part in selection process which shall take place at MA Stadium boxing training centre from 9th to 11th November between 8:00 and 10:00 AM, a handout issued by the SAI’s Sports Training Centre, Jammu said.
The interested boxers have been advised to bring along their age verification certificate, matriculation certificate, sports achievement certificates and latest passport size photographs. National Boxing Academy is a world class training facility for the boxers.
