MENDHAR: A police on Saturday nabbed a burglary accused who managed to escape from the premises of Mendhar court on Friday afternoon.
A team headed by ASI Mohammad Shabir and Incharge Police Post Balakote under the direct supervision of SDPO Mendhar Shahid Nayeem nabbed accused Tahir Shah from Behrote village of Balakote. “The accused was nabbed after a long chase of around ten kilometers, a police official said. Officers from District Special Branch were also part of the team which nabbed Tahir Shah, son of Baghdad Shah, resident of Gohlad area of Mendhar. The accused has been booked under the Public Safety Act.
