UDHAMPUR: In order to tighten the noose on violators of the various provisions of the J and K Levy of Toll Act and rules thereof, the Excise sleuths from Udhampur- Reasi Range Range led by Excise and Taxation Officer, Suresh Sharma laid a Naka on Jammu- Srinagar National Highway at Thanda Paddar NH 44 to check the toll evasion.
The Naka was laid on the directions of Excise Commissioner J and K, Mohd Javed Khan and under the active supervision of Deputy Excise Commissioner, Jammu , Ganshyam Singh. As many as 115 vehicles were put to check and an amount of Rs. 8060 was recovered as fine from toll evaders.
