UDHAMPUR: To provide relief to the disaster victims the Rotary Club Udhampur in association with Rotary International Distts. 3070 and other Rotary Distt. of India started distribution of relief material to the flood/land slide victims of Udhampur District.
On third day i.e. on Tuesday, the Rotarians have distributed the relief material kit containing clothes, sugar, rice, Atta, tooth paste, biscuits, Maggi noodles, candles, and blankets etc. The material was distributed among 65 families of village Samroli, Nansoo, Chunti, Childi, Lower Mir, Satyalta, Ghantwal in presence of Sarpanchs of the respected Panchyats. All the Sarpanchs and beneficiaries expressed their happiness to Rotary Club Udhampur to share their grief and extended heartfelt thanks.
Rotarians of Rotary Club Udhampur conveyed their thanks to District Governor Rtn Gurjeet Singh Shekhon of R.I. Distt. 3070 for supporting the club in relief distribution and further appealed to help the Rotarians of Rotary Club Udhampur for permanent rehabilitation of the flood victims.
The material was distributed by Prof. Rtn P. L Suri President Rotary Club Udhampur in presence of Rtn D. N Sharma, Chairman Rotary Eye Foundation Udhampur, Sr. Vice Chairman Rtn V. S Raja, Rtn Pritam Kotwal.
