JAMMU: Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF) urged the authorities concerned to release the salaries of the workers for the month of June, 2016 before 2nd July, 2016 in view of forthcoming Eid festival.
President JKMEF, Sushil Sudan alleged that due to non-availability of funds the salary of most of the employees for the month of May, 2016 has not been drawn so far. However worst sufferers are the employees working under 2211-Family Welfare Scheme who have not been paid salary for more than four to eight months due to non-availability of funds.
Therefore, the federation impressed upon the authorities to ensure that salary/wages funds are released under all schemes in time so that employees may not suffer for want of salary.
