Dear Editor,
Through your esteemed daily, I would like to highlight that the Jammu and Kashmir School Education Administrative Department had issued a letter addressed to DSEJ/ DSEK bearing No. du/ Regularisation/ Gazz/ 2015 dated 8th May 2015 regarding the regularisation of I/c Joint Directors, CEO(s), Principals, Lecturers, ZEO’s and equivalent as decided in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Commission/ Secretary to Govt. J and K School Education Department in his office chamber on 7th May 2015 as per the aforesaid letter and all the CEO(s) and DSEJ/DSEK were directed to furnish the list of all the above mentioned I/c officers in a consolidated form as per performa (format) devised for this purpose with the direction to submit the consolidated list of the I/c officers in question within a stipulated period of (10) days i.e. by or before 18th May 2015 positively.
Ten months have lapsed and not a single regularisation order has been issued till date for the reasons best known to the concerned authorities.
It is worth mentioning here that most of these officers-employed are at the verge of their retirement-superannuation and all of them want/wish to see their regularisation order (s) before their retirement.
Therefore, whatever is the reason-barrier being the regularisation process, it is most humbly requested once again to the Commissioner/Secretary to Government of Jammu and Kashmir School Education Department through the medium of this newspaper to kindly expedite the process of regularisation.
