JAMMU: An accused, who was wanted in a rape case at Trikuta Nagar, was arrested by Police on Sunday.
As per details, a family lodged a complaint with Trikuta Nagar Police three days back that Ajay Kumar, son of Som Nath, who happens to be son of their landlord, entered their kiosk, which they have built on plot of Som Nath and raped their daughter, who was alone that time and afterwards fled from spot. Victim girl narrated entire episode to her family after which they approached police. After conducting medical examination of victim, police registered an FIR and launched manhunt to nab the accused. After hectic efforts, the accused was nabbed from a suspected location. Further investigation is going on in the matter.
