JAMMU: MLC Ch. Vikram Randhawa on Tuesday dedicated newly constructed lane and drain to the public at Ward No 1, Simbal Camp in panchayat Tinda Kalan under Miran Sahib Block.
While addressing the villagers after dedicating lane and drain, Randhawa said that it was the long pending demand of the people and they were facing many hardships, particularly during rainy season, in the absence of lane and drain.
He said that a deputation from Ward No-1, Simbal Camp that apprised him about the problem.
Randahwa said that as it was the long and genuine demand of the public an amount of an amount of Rs 2.5 lakh was released from his Constituency Development Fund (CDF) following which the lane and drain now stands completed.
Santokh Singh, Sarpanch Raja Singh, Pradhan Amrik Singh, Jaswant Singh, Amrik Singh Sudan, Ranjit Singh Sudan and Sukhdev Singh were also present.
