JAMMU: Restaurant in Jammu witnessed this magical cooking feat at the Rampur food festival, organized from 19th to 28th December, 2014 at the Terrace Skylounge of KC Residency Hotel.
Rampuri dishes are best enjoyed in the traditional Shahi Dastarkhan.lt is a conventional dining place where the ancient royal families relaxed and relised on the Rampuri Cuisine.
Keeping this thing in view and in continuation of series of festivals Hotel K.C Residency Jammu would be serving up this delicious cuisine coupled with their remarkable hospitality from 19th December till 28th December 2014 at The Terrace Sky Lounge.
“There are plenty of non-vegetarian dishes to satisfy the meat eater in you but there are also quite a few vegetarian dishes that will surely please everyone. The vegetarians can try out Dhungara Paneer Tikka, Zafran Meve ki Seekh, Dahi Ki Seekh along with other dishes which will keep you going for more while the non-vegetarians can try out the various kebabs on offer like the Sambhal Ke Kebab, Samak Kalimirch Tikka and Gosht Seekh Kebab,” Rahul Jandial, Assistant General Manager KC Residency said.
There are a variety of Indian breads to choose from to go along with the main course like the Dhania Paratha, Rampuri Roti, Gilafi Kulcha. Any of these breads will go well paired with main dishes like the Murg Pista Korma, Rampuri Haldi Gosht, Gobhi Musullam and many others. The traditional Biryani’s like the Rampuri Gosht Biryani, Nizami Murg Biryani, Nawabi Subz Pulao are all present but with a difference in taste and flavour that’s sure to have you eating till your full, he mentioned.
“There are a variety of different Halwa’s like the Badam Ka Halwa and Shahi Tukra, If you’re feeling adventurous you can try out the Gosht Ka Halwa, Ande Ka Halwa, and the Mirchi Ka Halwa,” he added.
For this occasion, world renowned Celebrity Chef “M. Rehman” and his Khansamas from Rampur was in the city to give Jammuites a rare taste of Rampur’s culinary legacy.
