RAMBAN: Cyber Cell of District Police Ramban restored a hacked What’sApp Account. Reportedly a complaint was received at DPO Ramban on February 3, 2024 regarding hacking of whatsapp account of one lady namely Ifrat Begum wife of Fayaz Ahmed Bohru resident of Doligam Banihal. The said whatsapp account was hacked on Feb 2. SSP Ramban directed the Team of Cyber Cell DPO Ramban for necessary action. The Cyber cell team swung into action immediately and they promptly restored the hacked account and provided the complainant, guidance on enhancing security and privacy features to prevent future incidents.
