Punctuality is the reflection of a well-groomed student: Principal JKPS Kunjwani

JAMMU: “Punctuality is the virtue of a successful person in society. It helps in building the integrity of an individual. Being a punctual means respecting the value of time. It keeps a person fit and healthy. Punctuality makes you win the trust of people.”
With these words Kshitij from Grade 5 Galaxy at JK Public School Kunjwani set the ball rolling for the morning assembly.
“Punctuality is the major characteristic of a successful person. It plays a very important role in the development of an individual. If we are punctual, no barrier can stop us from reaching our goal. Punctuality is the ability of a person to submit work on time and never find an excuse for the delay”, pitched in Amelia.
“Punctuality is a characteristic that must be ingrained in every student so that she/he makes it a habit. A punctual person always leads a disciplined lifestyle. If we look at the lifestyle and history of great personalities, then punctuality is the key to success”, she added furthermore.
Reflecting on the topic stated Keerat Kour, “All great personalities are successful only because of their punctuality and discipline. The teachers, politicians, doctors, etc., are the future of the country, and therefore, they must be punctual in doing their duty to the country”.
Cherry on the cake was the poetic recitation from Hardik:
Man naturally loves delay,
And to procrastinate.
Business put off
from day to day
Is always done too late.
Let every hour be
in its place
Firm fixed, nor loosely shift,
And well enjoy the vacant space,
As though a birthday gift.
Better to be before your time,
Than ever to be behind!
To open the door while strikes the chime,
That shows a punctual mind.
If we take the example of the army personnel, they live a dignified life because of their punctuality and dedication towards their duty. Similarly, if a person is punctual in doing his job, he is respected in the workspace.
Applauding the reflections of assembly presenters from Grade 5 Galaxy, Principal JKPS Kunjwani Rajesh Rathore stated, “Punctuality is the outcome of a focussed approach in life. Unless a person is equipped with determination, dedication, time management, spirit and unflinching self-belief, one can’t reflect this personality trait in her/his behaviour. Punctuality is the reflection of every well-groomed student. Let’s nurture this trait in every student through conscious efforts”.
