JAMMU: Welcoming the new proposal of State Government to start college classes at school level, Private Schools Association said that without any clear cut policy private schools will never indulge in such hypothetical presumptions.
In this connection, a meeting of executive members of central body of Private Schools Association was held here on Friday under the chairmanship of Prof J.L Kotwal, Chairman PSA J&K.
President of the Association, Kamal Gupta, appealed to the government for fixing the parameters of BOSE or University while granting affiliation/ recognition to the schools willing to start +3 classes in addition to +2 classes.
Ajay Gupta, General Secretary of J&K PSA briefed the agenda of the meeting which included proposal of Principal Secretary Higher Education J and K to start +3 classes in addition to +2 in Higher Secondary Schools having eight Kanals of land, non-implementation of government order No 385 Edu of 2016 dated October 5, 2016 having less formalities for granting recognition / permission upto class 8th, adaptation of new precedent by JKBOSE with regard to annual inspection fee at Rs. 3500 yearly for first three years in addition to full inspection fee in the 4th year for the further extension in affiliation of private schools by the JKBOSE, promotion of dummy schools and no check by the State Government on tutorials, coaching and tuition centers.
