Private School Association (PSA) Ramban discusses various issues

RAMBAN: Private School Association (PSA) Ramban held a meeting in the premises of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir (BVM) High School on Sunday to discuss various issues. The meeting was chaired by PSA President Pardeep Singh Thakur in which 40 schools principals were present. The meeting was regarding the burning issues which were discussed on August 2 meeting of Private School Association (PSA) Jammu including non-implementation of Government order No. 385 Edu of 2016 dated October 5, 2016 having less formalities for granting recognition / permission upto class 8th, adaption of new precedent by JKBOSE with regard to inspection fee Rs 35, 00 yearly for first three years in addition to full inspection fee in the fourth year for the further extension in affiliation of private schools by the JKBOSE, promotion of dummy schools. Thakur said that the Education Department should clear all the pending permissions of the private education institutes for district Ramban. Main speakers including Shafiq Ul Islam from Banihal, Tariq Bali from Gool and Tariq Parrey from Batote stressed upon the new police of JKBOSE. Members demanded that the NOC should be given by the JKBOSE atleast for a period of five years.
