Politicians of Kashmir have given new dimension to multiple terror attacks in the Valley by diluting their enormity after bringing ‘elements within the country and the State’, who they believe, are not happy with the high turnout in the first two phases of elections. This speaks volumes about their handling of the Kashmir terrorism when they were in power. Such statements from responsible politicians are bound to encourage Pakistan and its stooges to undertake similar attacks in near future just to destabilise India.
Is it a matter of pride or shame for self-centred and myopic politicians to put their political interests over and above the national interest once out of power?
