Ignoring great efforts put in by the multiple-forces in flood ravaged Srinagar City, People’s Democratic Party supremo Mufti Mohammed Sayeed has shown his myopic political vision by observing that the whole country must rise as one to support the residents of the Jammu and Kashmir in their hour of need, as it has done earlier when natural disasters have struck other parts of the country. Indians have always treated Kashmir as the nation’s crown. He has not spoken a word in praise of the forces.
Is it a matter of pride or shame for otherwise vocal Kashmiri leadership to stitch their mouths when it comes to praising the armed forces for all the good they have been and are doing in the Valley for well being of its people?
