Even as the Jammu and Kashmir Government is grappling with criticism on account of failure in meeting the challenge of unprecedented floods since all its key agencies raised hands, the dare devil act of Yasin Malik in snatching army’s relief boat has posed a big question mark over its efficacy and capacity to deal with multiple challenges. Additional General Secretary of the ruling National Conference Sheikh Mustafa Kamal has said that if Yasin Malik has committed any offence, action should be taken against him.
Is it a matter of pride or shame for the dispensa-tion(s) which could not succeed in taking the judicial dispensation against a chronic secessionist, who openly confessed his role in the killing of 3 IAF men in 1990, to logical conclusion, to vouch for taking cognizance of an act of theft by him?
