Pradesh Congress Committee gears up for Assembly polls

JAMMU: To discuss the poll strategy and preparedness of the party, a meeting of Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) members of Jammu Province was held at PCC Headquarter here on Tuesday. Thakur Hari Singh-Vice President PCC chaired the meeting.

The meeting was attended by all Organizing Secretaries and Secretaries of Pradesh Congress Committee, Jammu.
The meeting discussed the ways and means for better co-ordination within the party cadres at the grass root level, constituency level and district levels.

The meeting held threadbare discussions and chalked out detailed strategy for an effective and co-ordinated campaign for all the 37 assembly constituencies of Jammu province.

The participants expressed confidence that the party would come out successful and would give a befitting reply to the divisive and communal forces posing challenges to the secular ideology and pluralistic living in the State. The speakers listed numerous landmark achievements including implementation of 73rd Amendment and creation of new administrative units in the State.

The meeting was attended by prominent leaders including Lalita Sharma, Hari Singh Chib, S. H. S Metha, Santosh Majotra, Santosh Magotra, Narinder Sharma, Rajiv Saraf, Dr. Kamal Singh, Narinder Gupta, Rajiv K. Gupta, Joyti Vaid, Thomas Khokhar, Ashwani Puri, Hira Lal Abrol, Neeraj Gupta, Naresh Sharma, Suman Mahaldar, Rajni Bala, Thirath Ram Bhagat, Ravi Singh Salathia, Sanjeev Sharma and Jadish Dogra.
