JAMMU: Keeping its commitment to continue to contribute to Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan even after completion of Swachh Bharat Pakhwada, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited Northern Region Transmission System-II carried out second special cleanliness drive in collaboration with Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar in the hospital premises.
During the cleanliness drive complete OPD of the hospital was cleaned by the members of Powergrid Family. The cleanliness drive was led by the Executive Director Powergrid Northern Region-II Anil Jain. Employees of Powergrid posted at Jammu and members of Shrishti Mahila Samiti participated in the drive. Dr. M Younis Choudhary Medical Superintendent, Dr. Deepak Kumar, Deputy Superintendent Government Hospital, Gandhi Nagar along with senior consultants and doctors, students of paramedical courses and Sanitary Inspector Nadeem along with his team gave valuable contribution during this drive. Earlier, on his arrival Anil Jain and senior officers of Powergrid were welcomed by Dr. Deepak Kumar and his team. Anil Jain on this occasion handed over additional dustbins to the hospital for collection of waste in OPD.
