JAMMU: To carry out the branch cutting of heavy eucalyptus trees, the shutdown of Pathankot-Kathua line is being observed. During the shutdown, the power supply to Kathua-III, DC Office, CTM-I, CTM-II, Barmora, Partap Nagar District Police Line and their adjoining areas shall remain affected on 20th November from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Meanwhile, in order to carry out rectification of hotspots and to replace worn out jumpers and branch cutting at various locations, the shutdown of 132 KV S/C Barn-Jourian Transmission Line and 132 KV D/C Barn-Canal Transmission line is being observed. During the shutdown, the power supply to Grid Station Jourian, Grid Station Canal and Grid Station Pounichak shall remain affected on 20th November from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
