Dear Editor,
Why can’t we introduce a strong population control policy, like in China. The root of all problems in this country is overpopulation. No government scheme or programme can succeed till we treat the cause of all ills. Only the first two deliveries in government hospitals should be free of cost. Beyond that, it should be payable, so people realise the value of the services being provided. India needs some dictatorial measures, only then can we dream of becoming a developed nation.
