SRINAGAR: Police on Monday recovered huge quantity of contraband substances while conducting raid here.
According to report, police received an information that one person identified as Nazir Ahmad Misgar, resident of Gandwani in the jurisdiction of Police Station D.H Pora has kept huge quantity of contraband substances at his home.
After receiving this information, a party of Police Station D.H Pora raided his house and recovered four bags of poppy straw. The house owner fled from the spot and efforts are on to arrest him. A case FIR number 42/2017 under Section 8/15 NDPS was registered and investigation was taken up.
