Jammu: Various police teams were constituted and deputed to various flood affected areas including Pargwal, Phalanmandal, Nagrota, Ramgarh and Parmandal areas from DPL Jammu/Samba.
DIG Jammu Shri Shakeel Ahmed IPS and SSP Jammu Shri Uttam Chand IPS alongwith SP City South Jammu Shri Rahul Malik IPS and SP Hqrs. Shri Randhir Singh constituted the police teams and handed over them the tents and ration for distribution to the flood affected areas. All the jawans were specially briefed by the DIG Jammu/SSP Jammu for making the sincere efforts during the rescue operation/rehabilitation in order to get the confidence of the general public. They were deputed under the supervision of concerned SHOs/SDPOs. Similarly medical teams from police hospital Jammu were also constituted and deputed for the treatment of flood affected victims in Pargwal and Phallan Mandal area.
