POONCH: In order to strengthen the police public relations, SHO Police Station Loran, Sub Inspector Jonesh Verma conducted police-public meeting in the premises of Police Station Loran in which prominent / responsible citizens including Chowkidars, Numberdars participated.
During the meeting, various issues raised by the participants like water shortage, electricity problems, shortage of teachers in H/S Batalkote etc. While addressing the meeting SI Verma assured that the genuine demands will be taken up with the concerned departments through police for redressal of problems at the earliest and people were also requested to extend wholehearted cooperation to the police in maintaining law and order, dealing with social evils, eradication of crime, keeping watch on the outsiders and if they find any suspect person immediately intimate to police. The meeting was conducted under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Poonch Shahid Nahiem Choudhary and under the overall supervision of Rajiv Pandey, SSP Poonch.
