Baramulla: Continuing its efforts to eradicate the ecosystem of drug dealers, Police in Baramulla attached illegally acquired property of a notorious drug peddler.
Police has attached property of a notorious drug peddler Mudasir Ahmad Shah son of Mohd Maqbool Shah resident of Chanderseeran, Baramulla who is presently lodged in Central Jail Kot Bilwal Jammu under PIT-NDPS Act. The attached property includes land measuring 6 marlas under survey No. 875 & plinth of under construction poultry farm worth lacs. The action was taken under sections 68-E read with 68-F (1) of NDPS Act of 1985 & is linked with case FIR No. 113/2023 under section 8/15 NDPS Act of Police Station Kreeri. The property was identified as illegally acquired property during the course of investigation/enquiry conducted by Police. The property was prima facie acquired from illicit trafficking in Narcotic drug and Psychotropic substances by the drug peddler.
