PNB MetLife, J&K Bank set up Claim Processing Camps

‘J&K Bank records safe’ 
NEW DELHI: Life insurance company PNB MetLife and J and K Bank have set up Claim Processing Camps for flood victims in Jammu and Kashmir.
“PNB MetLife…has set up dedicated Claim Processing Camps in the Valley to support disaster victims with the support of Jammu & Kashmir Bank,” PNB MetLife said in a release on Thursday .
The camps aim to ensure hassle free claim settlement for customers across the Valley, it said.
In view of the grim situation, the claim process has been simplified and requires minimal documentation.
For claim settlement, PNB MetLife customers can reach out to Jammu West’s Reasi, Poonch, Rajouri Branches and Jammu North’s Doda, Udhampur Branches of Jammu and Kashmir Bank.

PNB MetLife India Insurance is a joint venture between MetLife International Holdings Inc., Punjab National Bank, Jammu & Kashmir Bank, M Pallonji and Company and other private investors.
Meanwhile, a spokespersons of J&K Bank said that all the records, documents and other data of the Bank are safe and all the branches operating outside Kashmir Valley are fully operational and functional.
Bank has fully revived operations in 115 branches in Kashmir valley up to 11th of Sept, 2014, he said, adding that a force is on to make more branches operational in the valley once continuity is restored.
“Bank is aware of the pain and sufferings caused due to natural disaster and committed to stand by its customers and Stake holders in this hour of grief. Bank has already initiated steps for relief measures for the Flood affected people under its Corporate Social Responsibility,” the spokesperson maintained.
