JAMMU: Managing Director (MD) Police Housing Corporation (PHC) Dilbag Singh on Tuesday presented a cheque of rupees fifty lakh out of its limited resources to Chief Minister for flood victims of the state through DGP J&K at Hari Niwas, Srinagar.
It’s a small gesture from Police Corporation to express its solidarity with the people of the state, a press release issued by PHC stated.
CM appreciated the gesture in the presence of his cabinet colleagues and other civil and police officers during the review meeting on relief and rehab efforts undertaken by the state government on war footing. CM hoped that other organisations and people would also come forward and extend a helping hand.
