Personal staffs of HC Judges seek CJ intervention
Jammu: The members of the J and K High Court Personal Staff Association strongly condemned the inaction of on the part of High Court authorities in not acceding the genuine demands of the High Court staff, despite repeated assurance given by the authority concerned and requested Chief Justice of J and K High Court to personally intervene in the matter so that the grievances of the staff of the High Court, is redressed.
According to the Vice-President Satinder Singh that even daily wagers working in the High Court are being made to function as Junior Assistants as no recruitment against these posts have been made which are lying vacant since long, which is also not in public interest.
The Vice President of Association was further of the view that it is very sorry state of affairs that the employees working in different categories in the High Court in particular gazetted cadre are made to remain stagant on a particular post for the years together due to non existence of any rules guiding the service conditions of these employees. The officers of personal staff category of High Court Judges are made to visit the residential chambers of Judges at the cost of their social obligations even on Sunday and gazetted holidays and almost on every working day after the office hours was stated to be a violation of their social rights.
