‘PDP committed for mitigating people’s problems’

ANANTNAG: Senior PDP leader and Chief Coordinator South Kashmir Mufti Sajjad Hussain called for taking serious initiatives to revive the peace process between India and Pakistan and involve all stake holders in dialogue.
Addressing party workers here on Sunday, Sajjad said that peace is inevitable in J&K and the emergence of PDP has changed the entire discourse. He said that the State cannot progress in the absence of peace and everything will fall in peace once the situation is conducive. Mufti Sajjad said that PDP has a proven track record of creating an enabling environment for the promotion of businesses, commerce, tourism and creating avenues of employment opportunities for the youth of the State. He said that PDP is committed for mitigating the problems of the people and urged the government to make all preparation for essential services especially electricity, ration supply, fuel for the winter season so that people do not suffer.
