JAMMU: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) lambasted PDP-BJP Government for its betrayal on several issues including injustice to State’s OBCs, Artificial Lake Issue and shifting of AIIMS from Jammu to Kashmir.
Terming the present dispensation worse than its predecessors including NC and Congress Coalition and at times NC alone, the members of AIBCU said that people in the State are feeling dejected after the new regime’s U-turn policy has played havoc in their lives.
Speaking during a meeting, the members said that without a concrete social justice policy for the State OBCs, the aspirations of this community have been shattered. Pointing out discrimination in advertising posts in Kashmir and Jammu divisions, the members said that such a move is deliberated effort to sabotage the cause of State’s OBCs.
“SRO-59 for electric employees has been implemented in Kashmir Division only and not in Jammu”, they added. The members said that backtracking of BJP on its poll promises will have detrimental effects on the State.
Besides, Central Committee members of AIBCU, General Secretary Prof. Kali Dass also spoke in the meeting.
