MENDHAR: A family trouble has taken a bloody turn when accused Ashwani Kapoor and his brother Nitin Kapoor sons of Krishan Lal Kapoor residents of Gohlad (Mendhar) attacked the other party in their house with sharp edged weapons and rods in which three members of a family were seriously injured.
The injured namely Kamal Kapoor, Rajat and Rahi were immediately shifted to Sub District Hospital Mendhar. Since the condition of Kamal Kapoor was critical, he was evacuated to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu for specialised treatment.
Sources said that the accused persons were threatening the victims for a deadly attack over a family dispute for which the victims had already lodged a complaint in Police Station Mendhar but since the police took no cognisance of the complaint, the culprits got encouraged and attacked the family.
After the accused persons gave practical shape to their threat, the police moved to action and lodged FIR 180/2017 under section 323/452 RBC for investigation. The accused have not been arrested and the police have launched a manhunt to nab them.
