UDHAMPUR: A deputation of senior leaders of BJP Udhampur under the leadership of Ex. Minister of State Pawan Gupta including Dr. Jogeshwar Gupta, President Municipal Council Udhampur, DDC Member Puran Chand Sharma, DDC Member Ashu Sharma, BDC Chairman Udhampur Balwan Singh, BDC Chairman Panchari Jeevan Sharma, Rohit Sethi and Pankaj Mahajan met LG Manoj Sinha in connection some more problems of Udhampur District which include incomplete & abandoned new as well as old PHC & Sub-Centre buildings and shortage of Staff in Health institutions, shortage of teaching staff in Middle, High & Higher Secondary Schools situated in far flung areas of Udhampur District, clearance of long pending work-done liability (including labor part) under MNREGA in Rural Development Department, Four-Lanning of National Highway (old alignment) from Phalata to Jakhani (Udhampur), Four-lanning of Dhar Road to National Highway, Establishment of Auditorium at Udhampur, Establishment of Transport Yard and others.
Pawan Gupta thanked LG Manoj Sinha and BJP All India General Secretary Tarun Chug for their efforts in resolving scarcity of drinking water in Udhampur by sanctioning funds for augmentation of potable water supply to Udhampur town and surrounding villages.
Pawan Gupta also thanked BJP All India General Secretary Tarun Chug for his intervention into the matter and for taking keen interest and initiating efforts at the right quarters in the matter of resolving the water crisis in Udhampur city.
